Y2K deja vu

Remember Y2K Problem and its hype!!! well here comes its little sister. Some systems stores current time as seconds since 1970. Coming january-2004 it will be 1 billion seconds (2^30 seconds) since 1970 and so systems which uses only 29 bits out of 32 to store this and other bits for flags and some other purpose may reset themselves and start time again as 1970 !!! CNET is running a nice story about this. It will be interesting how many companies needs to patch this.
