When I took Cryptography-I during fall, I understood that Elliptic Curve based cryptology is going to give efficient security then RSA but it was just matter of time that how long commercial ECC based technology will take to hit the markets. Reading this article, will ECC based cryptology replace popular RSA based cryptology, if yes how long?? and if quantum computers are soon (or in some underground locations 
then for how long ECC encrypted data will be secure??
