WiFi Developing countries way

NYTimes
In cambodia, they collect emails using WiFi connection. Now what’s special in that?? The way it works is instead of laying entire infrastructure into rural areas, they gave WiFi enabled computers in the area that does not have WiFi service providers. Instead to collect their emails a guy on motorbike slowly passes by the building that has the WiFi enabled computer. The motorbike has wireless WiFi chipset that exchanges emails with computers in surrounding building. Remote places where economically its not viable to setup infrastructure, this may turn out to be a real good option for people in such areas.
